Last updated October 12, 2026. This policy explains what information Haze Retreats collects when you book a stay, contact us or follow us online, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Booking details — your name, email, phone number, stay dates, number of guests and any details you share on the pre-arrival form.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages — emails, texts and booking-platform messages you send us, including through our contact form.
- Marketing preferences — whether you have asked to receive or stop receiving our emails.
How We Use It
- To confirm and manage your reservation, and send check-in details and door codes.
- To answer your questions before, during and after your stay.
- To schedule cleaning and maintenance for the property you booked.
- To send occasional offers to past guests. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To meet legal, tax and safety obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
Only the service providers we need to run your stay: our booking and property-management system, payment processor, email and text-messaging providers, and cleaning-scheduling software. Booking platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com handle your information under their own privacy policies. We may also share information when required by law.
How Long We Keep It
We keep booking records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, then delete them. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your Choices & Data Deletion
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request” and the name and email used for your booking. We will respond within 30 days. Records we are legally required to keep (such as tax records) will be retained only for as long as the law requires.
Social Media
Haze Retreats publishes its own photos and videos to Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms using those platforms' official tools. We use that access only to post and manage our own content. We do not collect, store or sell personal information about people who view, like or follow our social media accounts.
