About Quack Shack
Quack Shack is a five-bedroom A-frame cabin in Gaylord’s Michaywe community, made for families, big groups and multi-family getaways. The living room has vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows, and it opens to a kitchen and dining table big enough for everyone.
The lower-level walkout is the game room, with pool, ping pong and a sectional for movie nights, and there is a second rec space in the garage. Outside, the wooded yard has a fire pit, cornhole and string-lit patio, and the deck has a grill.
Your stay includes access to the Michaywe clubhouse: an indoor pool and hot tub through the winter and an outdoor pool in summer, plus walking trails and the Michaywe golf course minutes away.
Gaylord and nearby
Gaylord sits at the top of northern Michigan’s lower peninsula, and it is a four-season town. Downtown has an alpine-village main street with restaurants, breweries and shops. Summer is golf, with more than a dozen courses within a short drive, plus lakes, trails and the Pigeon River Country State Forest, home to Michigan’s wild elk herd. Winter brings groomed snowmobile and cross-country trails right from town, and downhill skiing at Treetops, with Boyne Mountain under an hour away.
Treetops Resort is about 15 minutes away and Boyne Mountain about 45.
