About Million Dollar View Cottage
Million Dollar View earns its name: across Lake Huron, the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island sit on the horizon on clear days. The studio cottage shares a five-acre lakefront property, more than 300 feet of shoreline, a fire pit and a picnic area with a handful of other cabins.
Inside, it is simple and comfortable, with sleeping, sitting and kitchenette space for two. It is made for couples and slow mornings, and it is open seasonally, at its best in the warmer months.
Cheboygan and nearby
These homes sit on the Lake Huron shore just outside Mackinaw City, in Cheboygan County, with the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island in view. The Mackinac Island ferry docks are about 7 minutes away and downtown Mackinaw City’s restaurants and shops about 10, with Colonial Michilimackinac and the lakeside parks a short drive. The North Central State Trail is close by for walking and biking, and the evenings are quiet: freighters and ferries crossing the straits, and the Bridge lit up after dark.
